Indianapolis - David Lee Parrish, 55, passed away Tuesday, June 21, 2022. He was born April 28, 1967 in Kokomo, IN to the late Buford R. McLerran and Helen Agnes Cox Parrish. David graduated from Western High School in Russiaville, IN in 1985. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Indianapolis. He was employed as an armed security guard. Additionally, David was a volunteer for the Red Cross, an amateur radio operator and a volunteer weather spotter. He enjoyed travelling and was always willing to help others.
David was preceded in death by his parents, Buford R. McLerran and Helen Agnes Cox Parrish; sisters, Wanda M. Yeagle and Nora J. Hiser; and brothers, James J. Parrish and Randall W. Parrish. He is survived by his companion of over 20 years, Susan M. Schmidt; sons: Cody McGee, Aaron M. Parrish and David L. Parrish II; daughter, Helen S. M. Parrish; step-father, Robert W. Parrish; brothers, Robert C. Parrish and Bruce A. Parrish and his wife, Rhonda; granddaughter, Bailey J. Silcox; and many other beloved family members and friends.
