Anita Carol Price
1960 - 2022

Anita Carol Price, age 61 of Indianapolis, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, July 20, 2022 at her residence. She was born December 28, 1960 in Indianapolis, the daughter of Arnold and Loretta Loman. Anita enjoyed being around her family and going to all of the cookouts and get-togethers. She liked to listen to her music and watch her favorite shows, “The Young and Restless”, “Bold and Beautiful” and “The Talk”. Anita would spend nightly time with her daughter watching “Station 19”, “Greys Anatomy” and “The Masked Singer”. Every Friday night at 10 pm, Anita would watch “Blue Bloods” with Toby before going to bed. She liked to keep to herself and play her dot-to-dot books and games on her tablet. Anita enjoyed sitting outside on her porch and spending time with her dog, “Toby”. More than anything, Anita was a loving mother, sister and friend to all.

Anita is survived by her daughter, Rebecca (Johnny) Price; 2 sisters, Doris Loman and Donna Vanbuskirk; previous spouse, David Price; her dog, “Toby”; grandpup, “Angel”; and numerous extended family members and friends.
Anita is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Mary Loman; and 2 brothers, Ed Loman and Fred Loman.

A funeral service celebrating Anita’s life will be held at 4:00pm on Tuesday, July 26, 2022 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions at 925 East Hanna Ave. Indianapolis, IN 46227 with Rev. Danny Thomas officiating. A visitation for family and friends will be held from 2:00 to 4:00 pm prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers the family has asked that donations be made to Newcomer Funeral Home to help offset unexpected funeral expenses.
