Brenda Wright, age 69 of Indianapolis passed away on Thursday, September 8, 2022 at her residence following an extended illness. She was born March 20, 1953 in Dayton, Ohio the daughter of William Joe and Josephine (Collins) Myers. For many years, Brenda ran her own cleaning business in the area. She enjoyed dancing, crafting and going to yard sales. Brenda was a good Christian woman who was devoted to watching John Haggie weekly. She had an incredibly giving heart and was beautiful inside and out. Brenda was family oriented all of her life and loved nothing more than to spend time with her family, especially her children and grandchildren.

Brenda is survived by her 2 children, Randolph (wife Monica) Grant and Melissa Grant; 6 grandchildren, Randall Grant, Caden Grant, Collin Grant, Brandon Grant, David Thomas and Dylan Grant; 1 great-granddaughter; 4 siblings, Linda Dinn, William David Myers, Jeffrey (wife Janet) Myers and Lisa (husband Mike) Jennings; significant other, Charles Wright; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Brenda is preceded in death by her parents.

A funeral service celebrating Brenda’s life will be held at 12:00 pm on Monday, September 19, 2022 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals and Receptions at 925 East Hanna Ave. Indianapolis, IN 46227. Burial will follow at New Crown Cemetery in Indianapolis. A visitation for family and friends will be held prior to the service from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm on Monday, September 19, 2022.
