Indianapolis – Lillie Mae Mollett, 92, passed away Wednesday, October 26, 2022. She was born January 31, 1930 on a farm in Thealka, KY to the late Russell and Angie Franklin Wells. She was employed by Southport High School where she served in the cafeteria for 26 years.

Mrs. Mollett was a fantastic cook and could whip out a meal in no time, complete with biscuits, noodles and pies. She loved to go fishing and bowling. Additionally, she could crochet and sew just about anything.

Mrs. Mollet is survived by her daughter, Pamela Lowe and her husband, Mark; son Gary Mollett and his wife, Kim; brother, Earl Wells; 4 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; and many more beloved family members and friends.

Mrs. Mollett’s family will receive friends Tuesday, November 1, 2022, from 11 am – 1 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 925 East Hanna Avenue, Indianapolis, IN 46227. A celebration of her life will follow at 1 pm at the funeral home. She will be laid to rest next to her beloved husband of almost 72 years, Noah Mollett, on Wednesday, November 2, 2022, at 11 am at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, 1977 South State Road 135, Greenwood, IN 46143.
