Indianapolis – Gary Norman Marshall, 74, passed away Saturday, January 7, 2023. He was born July 4, 1948 in Fresno, CA to the late George and Mary Hunt Marshall. Gary graduated from McLane High School in 1966 and attended Fresno City College. He was an honorably discharged veteran of the United States Navy. He was a volunteer at the Trailer Estate Fire Department and vice president of the Cubi Subic Bay Association. He retired from Sarasota County Area Transit.

Gary married the love of his life, Linda Bulingit - Dolon, on April 25, 1986 in Subic City, Zambales, Philippines. His hobbies included bowling and playing backgammon and poker. He loved his family, going to the casino and playing the lottery. Additionally, he enjoyed watching football, camping and playing Shang-Hai with his family.

Gary was preceded in death by his parents, George and Mary Hunt Marshall and his brother, Glenn Marshall. He is survived by his beloved wife of 36 years, Linda B. Marshall; daughters: Mary Suhrkamp and her husband, Billy, Linda Joyce and her husband, Nick and Michelle Dean and her husband, Jordan; brother, George F. Marshall and his wife, Delma; grandchildren: Elizabeth, Nicole. Hanna, Aaliyah and Alaiah; great grandchildren: Aidynn, Adrian, Aunalise and Najae; and many other loving family members and dear friends.

Gary’s family will receive friends Saturday, January 21, 2022, from 11 am – 1 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 925 East Hanna Avenue, Indianapolis, IN 46227. A celebration of his life will follow at 1 pm at the funeral home.
