Nina Inez High

Indianapolis - Nina Inez High, 78, passed away Monday, January 16, 2023. She was born April 30, 1944 in Moorhead City, North Carolina to Clarence Albert Reed, Sr. and Grace L. Smith Grimes. She enjoyed playing Bingo, Euchre and Wii Bowling. She loved watching football and spending time with her grandchildren.

Nina was preceded in death by her beloved husband, John D. High, who passed away in 1982; and, daughter, Tina L. Resener. She is survived by her children: Rebecca A. Cravens, Willis P. Poland, Jr. Thea L. Fisher, Tammy S. Biggerstaff and Timothy K. Smith; brother, Clarence Albert Reed, Jr.; grandchildren: Jonathon High, Cheyenne Cravens, Mary Cravens, Tyler Poland, Michaela Poland, Maya Poland, Timothy Hoffman, Melissa Rigney, Daniel Biggerstaff, Jr. Samantha Bennett, Josie Tackett, Katie Haigis, Christipher Smith, Dana Fisher, Michael Fisher, Christina Green, Jessica Resener, Timothy Garner and Karmi Martinez; niece, Teresa Staimpel; nephews, John Reed and James Reed; and many other loving family members and friends.

Services for Nina will be conducted privately. The family has requested that donations be made in her honor to the American Heart Association.
