Luis Roome-Aaron “Louboz” Rodriguez, age 45 of Indianapolis passed away on Thursday, January 19, 2023 in Indianapolis. Luis was born May 6, 1977 in Indianapolis the son of Jorge and Stephanie (Rigby) Rodriguez. Luis attended Emmanuel High School in Indianapolis. He worked for over 20 years at Century Marble as a marble manufacturer. Luis spent part of his childhood growing up in Brooklyn, New York and loved everything about New York. He was a huge sports fan, especially the New York Knicks, New York Giants and the New York Yankees. You could almost always count on Luis wearing his Yankees hat. Luis was an incredibly hard worker and loyal friend. He always made others smile and laugh and was known as the life of the party. Luis loved nothing more than his family, and was the protector of his family and friends. Luis will be remembered as a loving father, grandfather, brother, son and friend.

Luis is survived by his father, Jorge Rodriguez; mother, Stephanie (Gary Templeton) Rodriguez; 7 children, Casandra Skirvin, Stephanie Griffin, Luis Rodriguez, Taylor Fitzpatrick, Janea Rodriguez, Laileionna Rodriguez and Isaiah Rodriguez; 7 siblings, Vulnavia Rodriguez, Valerie (husband Jorge) Pena Morales, Serenity (husband Joseph) Rodriguez, Vanessa (Alejandro Hernandez) Rodriguez, Juan Rodriguez, Jorge Rodriguez and Donald Rodriguez; 6 grandchildren, Chandler Pritchett, Rae-Lynn Pritchett, Lyndon Pritchett, Easton Griffin, Luis Poe and Josiah Poe; several nieces and nephews; and numerous cousins, extended family members and friends.

Luis is preceded in death by his great-grandma, Vera Hill; uncle, Donald Rigby; aunt, Deborah Bosque; and cousin, Pedro Bosque.

A visitation honoring his life will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 pm on Thursday, January 26, 2023 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 925 East Hanna Ave. Indianapolis, IN 46227. Please continue to support Luis’s family during these difficult times. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home to help offset funeral expenses.
