Indianapolis - Tara Jean Jamison, 39, passed away Saturday, January 21, 2023. She was born March 3, 1983 in Anderson, IN to Brenda Kaye Cook Meade and Larry Jamison. She served her family as a homemaker.

Tara’s hobbies included collecting clowns and getting tattoos. She loved cooking, cleaning, listening to music, taking care of people and spending time with her children. Additionally, she enjoyed socializing, spending time with her friends and watching movies.

Tara is survived by her mother, Brenda Kaye Cook Meade; father, Larry Jamison; children: Jayden T. Jamison, Trinity A. Stum and Treylen L. Jamison; siblings: Kimberly A. Mattox, Stacey L. Potter, Shaun Jamison, Brenda Leuteman and Ronnie Meade; grandchild, Akilah Blacklock; nieces: Destiny Potter, Cierra Mahin, Madelynn Jamison, Mycala Jamison and Kayley Gould; nephews: Tarran Robinson, Alex Jamison, Dyllan Gould, Austyn Leuteman and Skylar Leuteman; and many other loving family members and dear friends.

Tara’s family will receive friends, Friday, February 3, 2023, from 11 am – 1 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 925 East Hanna Avenue, Indianapolis, IN 46227. A celebration of her life will follow at 1 pm. The family requests that, instead of sending flowers, you consider making a donation to Tara’s children.
