Daniel D. ""Danny"" Williams
1943 - 2023

Daniel D. “Danny” Williams, age 79 of Indianapolis, passed away on Wednesday, March 8, 2023 at Cisterns of Loving Care in Indianapolis following an extended illness. He was born October 27, 1943 in Indianapolis the son of Isaac and Florence (Swhear) Williams. Danny attended Arsenal Tech High School in Indianapolis. Danny married the love of his life, Mary Wilson and spent many years of happy marriage together. He enjoyed being outdoors, taking care of his flowers and riding his motorcycles. Danny found great joy in enjoying the open air on his rides. He loved all animals and had special pets over the years. Danny loved animals so much that he even had a “pet” possum who he fed every day. He was a great jokester. More than anything, Danny loved his family and was an amazing man.

Danny is survived by his brother, Phillip Williams; son, Timothy (Sharon) Williams; 2 daughters, Dawn (Steve) Woods and Danielle (John) Livingston; 14 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; and numerous extended family members and friends.

Danny is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Mary Williams; daughter, Amber Williams; and sister, Susan McKee.

Danny’s wishes were to be cremated and have no formal services at the funeral home. Newcomer Cremations, Funerals and Receptions in Indianapolis was honored to handle Danny’s cremation wishes.
