In Memory Of
Joan Daniel
1930 - 2023
Joan enjoyed gardening, cooking and traveling. She was involved with the same bridge group for over 50 years and diligently worked her daily crossword puzzles. Joan had a devoted close knit group of friends whom she met with every Monday for decades. Joan was a very involved member of the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra’s Southside Women’s Group where she held many roles including president and was a past president of her homeowners association. There was nothing more important to Joan than her family. She loved to have her family and friends over to her home to entertain and spend quality time together, and was a phenomenal hostess. More than anything, Joan will be remembered as a loving mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend.
Joan is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Richard Daniel; three siblings, William Kirkpatrick, Alice Zan Deichman and Jay Kirkpatrick; daughter, Kim Hamilton; two granddaughters, Gabrielle Cross and Angela Hamilton; and grandson, Nathaniel Hamilton.
