Lisa June Myrtle-Adcock, age 65 of Indianapolis, passed away on Wednesday, March 15, 2023 at Envive Health Care Facility following an extended illness. She was born September 15, 1957 Jacksonville, North Carolina the daughter of James Ronald and Gloria (Knapp) Myrtle. Lisa was a 1975 graduate of Quantico High School. She retired from Comcast where she worked as a sales representative. Lisa liked to do puzzle books, read, watch movies and go to the casino with her friends. She loved going on walks, taking trips to the ocean and enjoying her sweets. She had a soft side for animals of all kinds. More than anything, Lisa enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Lisa is survived by her mother, Gloria Myrtle; 2 daughters, Angela Herebia and Heidi Horatschki; sister, Holly Singh; brother, Michael Myrtle; 10 grandchildren; Nathan Horatschki, Lisa Meanier, Brayden Herebia, Dylan Horatschki, Nick Horatschki, Jaxon Horatschki, Johann Horatschki, Roman Horatschki, Ezra Meanier and Jace Horatschki; adopted daughter, Michelle McGuire; and several extended family members and friends.

Lisa is preceded in death by father, James Ronald Myrtle; son, Jonathan Horatschki; and grandson, Michael Horatschki.

A funeral service celebrating Lisa’s life will take place at 1:00 pm on Thursday, March 23, 2023 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals and Receptions with family officiating. Visitation for family and friends will be held from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Thursday, March 23, 2023 prior to the funeral at the funeral home. Burial will follow the funeral at New Crown Cemetery in Indianapolis.
