Indianapolis - Alisha Sherwood, 50, passed away Saturday, May 9, 2015.
Mrs. Sherwood was born August 7, 1964 in Indianapolis, IN. She was a homemaker. She loved listening to music and cook outs, but more than anything else, she enjoyed spending time with her family.
Mrs. Sherwood was preceded in death by her parents, George Briley and Arginta Deffinger and her sister, Kathy Stone. She is survived by her sons, Tim Sherwood and his wife, Rosaleen, Jeremy Sherwood and his wife, Jacqueline and Dustin Sherwood and fiancé, Susan Newsom; sisters, Christina Moon, Regina Moon and Carla Jones; brothers, James Moon and Bobby Moon; and 3 grandchildren.
Mrs. Sherwood's family will receive friends Wednesday, May 13, 2015, from 10 am–12 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home at 925 East Hanna Avenue in Indianapolis. A celebration of her life will follow at 12 pm. Interment will follow at New Crown Cemetery at 1:30 pm.
