Becky Lynn Summitt

Becky Lynn (Tooley) Summit, age 63, passed away on Thursday, November 19, 2025, at her home in Indianapolis, Indiana. She was born on October 16, 1962, to the late Gus Herman and Matilda Evelyn (Tharp) Tooley in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Becky graduated from Emmerich Manual High School and was united in marriage on May 8, 1998, to Richard Lee Summitt in Indianapolis, Indiana. Professionally, Becky worked as a shop manager at her local auto store, where she was known for her dedication and friendly spirit. Beyond her career, Becky was devoted to her family and found her greatest joy in spending time with her children and loved ones. She was quick to offer a helping hand, a warm smile, or a listening ear to those around her. Her kindness, strength, and generosity touched everyone she met, leaving a lasting impact on her community and family.

In addition to her parents, Becky was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Richard Lee Summitt. She is lovingly remembered by her children, Jackie Vest, Chazaty Vest and her partner, William, Cole Summitt and Dalton Summitt; her grandchildren, Shawn Allen, Destiny Allen and Jolee Hubbard; her great-granddaughter, Rebeckah Allen; her sisters, Kathy S. White and Jane E. Brown; as well as her nieces and nephews, Ruby Blanton, Cheyenne Brooks, Joey White, Chris Tooley, Evelyn Stone, and Marvin Cowen. Becky's memory will be cherished by all who knew and loved her.
