Ben Hayes, 79, of Indianapolis, passed away July 28, 2015 at his residence. He was born on February 27, 1936 in Selina, TN. He is preceded in death by his wife Wilma Jean Hudson Hayes and 4 grandchildren. Surviving family includes his children: Sharon Sluder, Cathy Williams, Randy Fraley, Jeff Hayes, Jerry Hayes, Janet Noonan and Tammy Hayes; 11 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild. Visitation will be held from 4pm until 8pm on Friday, July 31, 2015 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 925 East Hanna Ave, Indianapolis. Funeral services will be held at 11am on Saturday with burial to follow at West Newton Cemetery, Indianapolis, Indiana.
