Betty L Jones

Betty L. Jones, age 62, of Indianapolis, passed away peacefully on August 6, 2025. Born on August 30, 1962, to Skip Stiles and Mary Pate, Betty was one of twelve children and was deeply devoted to her large and loving family.

Betty had a zest for life and a heart full of love. Nothing brought her more joy than spending time with her children and grandchildren—her pride, her world, and her greatest source of happiness.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Don “Jonesy” Jones, her son Christopher Stiles, her parents Skip and Mary, her brothers Eddie, Teddy, and Timmy, and her sister Kay.

Betty leaves behind her devoted companion Ed “Chuck”; her daughter Jennifer (Donovan) Groce; her son Bill (Rachel) Roberts; and her cherished grandchildren: Caleb, Carissa, Cayden, Bill, Chloe, Christin, and Willow. She is also survived by her siblings Deb, Allen, Kim, Tina, Starla (Jamie), Wendy (Jackie), and Dustin; and sister-in-laws Gloria Stiles, Lori Stiles, Dawn Stiles, Teresa (Raymond) Gilbrech, and Carole Young, along with many loving nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.

The family will receive guests from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm, Sunday, August 10, 2025 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals, & Receptions, 925 E Hanna Ave (317-737-1545), with funeral services beginning at 1:00 pm. Internment to follow at Floral Park Cemetery, Indianapolis, IN.
