Charles Wright

Charles Preston Wright, known to most simply as Johnny, has passed away on April 29, 2026, in Indianapolis, IN. Born on June 4, 1954, in Springfield, OH, Johnny lived a life marked by straightforward pleasures—laughing loudly, fishing patiently, and hanging out with anyone who was up for it.

Johnny didn’t fuss about much. He enjoyed people, good company, and the kind of easy fun that doesn’t need explaining. He was exactly the sort of guy you wanted around when the day needed brightening or the weekend demanded a fishing pole.
