Christopher Scott Wethington

It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Christopher Scott Wethington, aged 51, of Indianapolis, Indiana, who departed this life on August 23, 2025.

Chris was a beloved father, son, brother, cousin, uncle, and friend, known for his love of his family, a cold beer, and the Indianapolis Colts. He will be remembered for his outspoken nature and adventurous spirit.

He is survived by his two sons, Christopher (Cierra) Wethington and Brandon Wethington; six grandchildren, Trenity, Aiden, Liam, Braelynn, Adaline, and Artemis; his father, Bill Wethington; his sister, Regina McCash; brother-in-law, Charles McCash; three nieces, Sandra and Sabrina McCash and Angela Wethington; three nephews, Charlie and Josh McCash, and David Wethington Jr.; and several great-nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his companion, Christane Poe, and her family.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Sandra Wethington; two brothers, Billy Wethington Jr. and David Wethington; two nephews, Timothy and William McCash; and a niece, Trisha Greggs.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 29, at 3 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home. Friends are invited to gather for a visitation from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service.
