Chuck Thompson, a cherished member of the Indianapolis community, passed away on May 30, 2026, in his hometown of Indianapolis, Indiana. Born on July 27, 1968, Chuck lived a life marked by kindness, humor, and unwavering dedication to his family and those who knew him.

A graduate of Broad Ripple High School, Chuck was known for his athletic spirit, having played on the school’s football team. Beyond his early athletic achievements, he was celebrated as the comedian of his family—always the jokester whose infectious laughter could lighten any room. He had a remarkable ability to bring joy and comfort through his humor, making him a treasured presence among friends and relatives alike.

Throughout his life, Chuck embodied traits that made him a pillar within his family: kind, loving, humble, and compassionate. He was a protector and great advisor, offering brilliant insights and strong values that guided those around him. Above all, he was honest and forgiving, always ready to help his loved ones, no matter the circumstance. His role as a provider was unwavering, and he remained a steadfast role model deeply committed to the welfare and happiness of his family.

Chuck’s interests reflected his zest for life. He enjoyed gaming, music, watching movies and TV shows, driving, and indulging in good food. His family claims he was a legend in Grand Theft Auto. Most importantly, he loved spending quality time with his family, cherishing those moments above all else.

He is survived by his soul mate, Kiela Eisold, and his daughters Cierra Thompson, Kishawn Thompson, and Kianna Thompson. He also leaves behind his sisters DeLisa Belt, Carol Radford, and Alaine Belt, as well as his brother Brad Thompson and nephew Rick Belt. Their lives have been enriched immeasurably by Chuck’s presence.

Chuck was preceded in death by his brothers Edward Khelseau, Derek Thompson, and Alfred Means Jr.; his mother Lou Carol Thompson; sister Tanya Belt; niece Tracey Renee Webb; and his father Alfred (Boonie) Thompson.

The family invites all who knew Chuck to join in remembering his life during the visitation and funeral services to be held at Newcomer Funeral Home, located at 925 E Hanna Avenue, Indianapolis, IN 46227. Visitation will take place on June 13, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., followed immediately by the funeral service from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Chuck Thompson’s legacy is one of laughter, love, and unwavering loyalty—a testament to a life well-lived and a spirit that will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to know him. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered.
