Dennis Christopher Hovey

Indianapolis- Chris Hovey passed away on Monday, June 9th in Indianapolis, Indiana. He was born on December 18th, 1973 to Dennis Eugene Hovey and the late Karen Elaine Hovey in Indianapolis, Indiana. He attended Perry Township Schools. Chris’ passion for music began practically at birth, he was performing for crowds by the age of two. He was a phenomenal drummer and sound engineer, and could also play multiple other instruments. Chris was fiercely devoted to his wife and two sons. He loved all of his family and was a kind and loyal friend.

Chris was preceded in death by his mother, Karen Hovey, and his sister, Amanda Hovey. He is survived by his wife, Bonnie Hovey, and their two sons, Devin Russell Sipes and Matthew Christopher Hovey, of Indianapolis, Indiana; his father, Dennis Eugene Hovey, of Indianapolis Indiana; and his sister, Michelle Pitzer (James Pitzer), of Indianapolis.
