Dorothy Lucille Tolan

Indianapolis - Dorothy Lucille (Poole) Tolan, age 58, passed away at 10:15 a.m. on Wednesday, November 17, 2021 at Franciscan Health Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana. She was born to the late Donald Allen and Juanita Sue (Haught) Poole on January 11, 1963 in San Jose, California.

In Dorothy's leisure time, you could find her at the casino or watching horror films and Investigation Discover TV. She enjoyed spending time with friends and family. Dorothy loved her husband, children and grandchildren deeply.

She is survived by her loving husband of 28 years, Daniel Steven Tolan; her children, Anita Lewis, Amber Poole, Latoya Whitlock, Danny Tolan Jr., George Tolan, Jessie Glaiser and Francis Ducon; 38 grandchildren; and 8 great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Dorothy was preceded in death by her son, Christopher Poole and David Tolan and her brother, John Poole.

Dorothy's friends and family may visit from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 23, 2021 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 925 East Hanna Avenue, Indianapolis, Indiana 46227. The funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Berry Glaiser officiating.
