Harold Brown, a beloved father, grandfather, and friend, passed away on January 1, 2026, at the age of 83. Born on October 28, 1942, in Blackey, Kentucky, Harold lived a life filled with love, hard work, and cherished memories.

Harold dedicated 30 years of his life to working as a Machine Operator at Ford, where he was known affectionately as "Wimpy" by his Ford family. His commitment to his job was mirrored by the fondness he held for his colleagues, particularly during memorable company trips that strengthened their bonds. He retired from Ford in 1998, leaving behind a legacy of dedication and skill.

After completing high school, Harold enlisted in the Air Force, serving from 1960 to 1965. It was during this formative period that he met his soulmate, Pearl, in England—his life’s love who would profoundly shape his journey. Harold's adventurous spirit and hardworking nature extended into his personal life, where he created beautiful memories with his children, Robert (Janet) Brown and Susan Brown. His family fondly remembers camping trips, vacations to amusement parks, and the joy of simply spending time together outdoors.

A passionate outdoor enthusiast, Harold found solace in fishing, camping, and gardening. He loved to immerse himself in nature, spending as much time outside as he could. His culinary skills made him a great cook, delighting family and friends alike with his meals. Socially, he enjoyed visiting the casino, where excitement and luck were part of his infectious zest for life.

Harold is lovingly remembered by his grandchildren, Raychell, Ashlee, Whitney, Robert Jr., and Natalie, who brought immense joy to his life. He is also survived by his siblings: Roen Brown, Jeanette Caudill, Cora Halcomb, Joan Roberts-Miller, and Charlene Drakos. Harold's great-grand dog, King, was a constant companion and source of happiness in his later years.

He was predeceased by his beloved wife of 61 years, Pearl, whose absence leaves a profound void in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. Harold also joins his parents, Wayne and Phoebe Brown, and siblings Douglas Brown, Mildred Rogers-Cox, Paul Brown, Rex Brown, Helen Lee, and Donald Brown, along with his nephew Rodney Roberts beyond this life.

Harold Brown will be remembered for his generous spirit, unwavering work ethic, and the love he cultivated within his family. His legacy will continue to live on in the hearts of his loved ones, who carry forth the lessons of love, adventure, and togetherness he imparted throughout his life.
