Jim's life was a rich tapestry woven with the threads of love, laughter, and unforgettable memories.

A proud graduate of Warren Central High School, Class of 1981, Jim dedicated his professional life to being a devoted HVHC Technician. His skills and commitment to his work were commendable, but it was his kind personality that truly distinguished him. Jim was caring and funny, always ready with a smile or a joke. He had an innate ability to connect with people, never meeting a stranger and forming friendships effortlessly.

Jim cherished his family and took immense pride in his children and grandchildren. He is survived by a loving daughter, Danielle Myrtle; a son, Tristan Myrtle; and grandchildren Jelena and Nikko, all of whom brought joy and meaning to his life. He held a special affection for his mother, Gloria Kathleen (Knapp) Myrtle, and shared a strong bond with his sister, Holly (Richard) Singh. He also treasured his nieces, Angela (Jose), Brianna, Rose, and Heidi, as well as his nephews, Matthew, Nicholas, and a great nephew Dylan, Nathan, Brayden, and Lisa Ann. along with several other great nieces and nephews. His former wife Tammy Johnson.

Jim’s zest for life extended beyond his professional endeavors. He found great pleasure in camping, and boating trips, fishing, and spending time at the beach. A frequent visitor to the casino, he embraced life's adventures wholeheartedly. His fondest memories were created during family gatherings, moments that strengthened the ties that bound him to his loved ones.

His legacy is further enriched by the cherished relationships he shared with those who have passed. Jim is predeceased by his father, James Ronald Myrtle; a daughter, Jocelyn Myrtle; a sister, Lisa Myrtle; and nephews, Michael Horatschki, and Jonathan Horatschki. Their memories continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

Jim's warm spirit and loving nature will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. As we remember Jim, we celebrate the life of a man who exemplified kindness, humor, and an unwavering devotion to his family.
