Jeffery Allen White, born on October 23, 1959 in Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away peacefully in his hometown on September 4 2025 He leaves behind a filled with laughter, cherished memories and an unwavering spirit that uplifted all who knew him.
A proud veteran, Jeffery enlisted in the U.S. Army in 1979, serving with honor until his discharge in 1985. During his time in the Army, he distinguished himself as a Calvary Scout and had the esteemed role of personal escort for his Sergeant Major. His dedication and service to his country were a source of pride for him and his family.
Jeffery was known for his infectious sense of humor and his ability to find a joke for every situation. Friends and family alike will remember the joy he brought into their lives with his witty remarks and playful antics, including his impressive balancing acts, where he could balance chairs on his fingers.
An avid enthusiast of various interests, he found joy in building car models and was a dedicated player of World of Warcraft. Above all, he cherished the time spent with his son, Chris, particularly during their movie nights filled with thrilling horror films and Harry Potter. His love and devotion for his family were profound, and it extended beyond just the human members; he also had a remarkable fondness for animals, especially his beloved cat, Cheyenne.
Jeffery is survived by his son, Chris Lewis; brother, Torry White; and sisters, Donna Wright and Kendra McClure, who will forever hold him in their hearts. He is preceded in death by his parents, George White and Mamie Conrad; brother, George White Jr.; grandmother, Fannie Dye; and aunt, Alice Tenner.
