Jodie Ann Dillehay, 58, of Indianapolis, passed away on October 20, 2025. She was born on April 11, 1967, in Indianapolis, Indiana, to the late Joe "Clyde" Dillehay and Corenna (Lookebille) Dillehay.
Jodie worked as a dietician for many years, but her true calling was caring for others. She had a heart big enough for everyone; always willing to lend a hand, offer a shoulder, or make someone feel like family. She was the kind of person who would give you the shirt off her back and still find a way to make you laugh while doing it.
She loved spending time with her family and grandkids more than anything. Whether she was playing video games on her phone, tablet, or old GameCube, or heading out for Bingo when she was able, she found joy in life’s simple moments. Jodie was a bit of a trickster, especially with her brother, and her humor and quick wit kept everyone around her smiling.
Jodie was a devoted mom who always did her best, even when times were hard. She gave all she had to her kids, grandkids, and anyone who needed her love or advice. Her warmth and laughter made her the heart of every room she was in.
She is survived by her children, Sara Dillehay, John Michael (Haley) Dillehay, and Heaven (Skyler) Dungan; grandchildren, Corenna, Serenity, Christine, Charlie, Shyann, AJ, Audrina, Isabella, Braxton, Dekotah, and Chloe; great-grandchild, Riley; and siblings, Michael Dillehay and Denise (John) Bell.
She is preceded in passing by her parents, Joe Clyde and Corenna (Lookebille) Dillehay.
Jodie will be remembered for her kindness, humor, and the way she loved with her whole heart.
Celebration of Life for Jodie will be November 8, 2025 from 2:00 PM - 7:00 PM, with services beginning at 4:00 PM, at the event center located 524 Main St, Beech Grove, IN, 46107.
