Karen Keith, 66, of Indianapolis, passed away on December 9, 2025.
She was born on November 15, 1959, to Donald and Juanita (Dill) Detzler in Indianapolis, IN. Karen lived with a steady sense of purpose and kindness. She was straightforward, sincere, and easy to be around, the kind of person whose presence made a room feel settled.
She enjoyed a quiet rhythm to her days: working on her coin hobby, cooking meals that always landed just right, and watching Channel 4, especially the news. She adored her dog, Kujo, who was her shadow and companion. Karen was simply a wonderful person, the sort who offered calm rather than noise and reliability rather than fuss.
Karen is survived by her husband, Steven; her siblings Trisha Chromer and Don Detzler; several nieces and nephews; and her in-laws Tim Keith, Gary Keith, Dwight Keith, Melvin Keith, David Keith, and Leona Keith.
She was preceded in passing by her parents, Donald and Juanita Detzler; two sisters; and one brother.
Services for Karen will be from 12 PM - 2PM, December 22, 2025, at Breaking Bread Apostolic Church, 530 Tracy Rd, New Whiteland, IN 46184.
