Lawrence A. (Larry) Jupin Jr., 94, went home to be with his Heavenly Father on November 11, 2025. Larry was born on March 11,1931 in Indianapolis, IN. He was the son of the late Lawrence A. and Mary Jupin.
Larry graduated from Emmerich Manual High School in 1949. A proud veteran, Larry served in the United States Navy on the USS Dixie from 1951-1955 during the Korean War.
Larry married his wonderful wife, Sara (Berg) Jupin on June 18, 1955 in Schofield, WI. They were married for 70 beautiful years and had one daughter, Jill Jupin.
After Larry was discharged from the Navy, he began working for Indiana Bell which eventually became AT&T. He was an Installer Repairman and retired in 1992 after 37 years of service. During his working years and after his retirement, he was an active member of Calvary Lutheran Church.
Larry was a lover of all sports. As a young man, he played on the St. Paul’s softball and basketball teams. He was a Colts season ticket holder for many years and followed a variety of sports on TV. He also loved to fish and went on many fishing adventures.
Larry is survived by his loving wife, Sara (Berg) Jupin; daughter Jill Jupin; grandchildren Kristina (Scott) Davis; Joey (April) Thetford; and 4 great-grandchildren, Madeline Davis, Grant Davis, Aurora Thetford, and Thorn Thetford. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence A. and Mary Jupin.
Visitation will be at Calvary Lutheran Church, 6111 Shelby St, Indianapolis, IN 46227, on Saturday, November 22, 2025 from 10:30am-12:00pm with a memorial service to follow at 12:00pm.
