Lilly Rakay Mullins, 30, peacefully left this earth on June 20, 2026 surrounded by her family. She was born on August 17, 1995 to her beloved parents, Mike and Leeyetta Mullins. Lilly lived a short yet remarkable life, lead by love, care, and passion, that will last forever in the hearts of those who knew her.
Lilly was a fire cracker. With passion and love as big as her feelings, she wore her heart on her sleeve. She always stood for what she believed in, and fiercely protected her family and the people she loved most. Being the first born in her family, she was incredibly independent. Her compassionate and nurturing spirit touched so many lives. She always wanted to make sure others were taken care of, and was a voice for those too little to speak. Lilly worked various jobs before finding her true purpose in life, being a mother to her two beautiful boys and her legacy, Zachary and Oliver. Lilly had simple joys of music, planning her next tattoo, the bold and bright colors of her “trippy” styled coloring pages, and road trips, her favorite being the beach in Florida.
Lilly is preceded by her great-grandparents, Clara and Thomas Day and Lee Etta Guinn; her grandpa, Ervin Guinn; and her great aunt and uncle, Cindy and Scott Day.
Lilly is survived by her parents, Mike and Leeyetta Mullins; her beloved children, Zachary and Oliver; her sisters; Clara (Kris) Mullins-Brune, Emily Mullins, and Abby (Chelsea) Mullins; her nephews; Malakai, Myles, Tadhg, James, and Jude; her niece, Maya; her grandparents, Beth and Gary Shelton, Rhonda Guinn, and Matthew and Rose Mullins; her aunts and uncles; TJ and Frances Mullins, Sam and Jamie Mullins, Tylene and Michael Venus, and Miranda Guinn; several close cousins; her life partner, William Rose; her cat, Rocky; and her childhood best friend and bonus sister, Deanna Gruschke.
Lilly was a true light in this world. Although she leaves us with our hearts heavy, she leaves behind an unshakable legacy of love that lives on in those that had the privilege of knowing her, and she will never be forgotten. Fly high, Lilly.
