Lisa Haver

Lisa C. Haver, 74, of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away peacefully on January 24, 2026, after a courageous battle with cancer, which she faced with strength and dignity since her diagnosis in 2024.

Born on March 11, 1951, Lisa was the beloved daughter of the late William and Kathleen Haver. She enjoyed working for Eli Lily as quality control technician for 35+ years until retiring in 2008. 

Lisa had a deep faith in Church and community. She found joy in singing with the choir at Friedens United Church of Christ, where her voice and presence were a blessing to many. She also enjoyed singing with the Indianapolis Women's Choir and performing in many stage plays and musicals. She enjoyed her trips with friends to Las Vegas and choir performances. She was an avid Scrabble and Euchre player, crossword puzzle enthusiast, was a bibliophile and cherished he time she spent with friends and family. 

She is survived by her loving sister, Kathy (Kevin) Sutton; her best friend Kathy; cousin, Fred Haver; and many beloved nieces and nephews.

Lisa was preceded in death by her parents; brother, William Haver; and best friend Paul. 

A funeral service for Lisa will be held Saturday, February 7, at 2 pm at Friendens United Church of Christ. Friends may gather for visitation from 11 am until the time of the service.

Lisa's wonderful, gentle spirit, loyal friendship, and love will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.
