Lori Ann Guy, a beloved mother, daughter, sister, and friend, passed away on May 9, 2025, in Danville, Indiana, at the age of 54. Born on February 3, 1971, in Beech Grove, Indiana, Lori was a vibrant individual whose life was characterized by her devotion to her family and her unwavering ability to bring joy to others.
Lori served as a field office associate for the Indiana Farm Bureau, where she was known for her commitment and diligence. Her professional life was guided by the principles of hard work and serving those around her, reflecting her caring nature. A graduate of Emmerich Manual High School in 1989, Lori always chased knowledge and sought to better herself and those in her life.
Most importantly, Lori's greatest love was her son, Colin Mulvaney. Together, they created countless cherished memories filled with laughter and happiness, highlighting her innate ability to prioritize others and ensure they felt loved. Lori was a person who made it a mission to put people first, always eager to make someone smile.
In her leisure time, she found joy in the simple pleasures of life. Lori enjoyed listening to music, going to the beach, watching movies, and attending concerts, activities that allowed her to embrace her spirited and joyful nature.
Lori is survived by her son, Colin Mulvaney; her mother, Gloria Green Hill; her step-father, John Hill; her sister, Amy Lawson; her step-sister, Susan Olsen; her step-brother, Mike Hill and his wife, Jenny; her niece, Brianna Lawson; her nephew, Robby Lawson; and her best friend, Ronna Moore. She was preceded in death by her father, Timothy Guy.
As we remember Lori, we celebrate her bright spirit, her loving nature, and the profound impact she had on all who knew her. She leaves behind a legacy of kindness, laughter, and unconditional love that will continue to inspire those fortunate enough to have crossed her path.
