Marianne Carol Weis

Marianne Carol (Toth) Weis, beloved mother, daughter and sister passed away tragically at the age of 52 on Thursday, February 1, 2024. She was brutally murdered in Indianapolis, Indiana. Marianne was born on June 22, 1971 to David Lynn Toth and Sharon C. (Junker) Walker in Indianapolis, Indiana.

She graduated from Warren Central High School; class of 1989. Marianne was a talented licensed Cosmetologist. Professionally, she worked as a hairdresser and bartender.

In her leisure time, Marianne often painted, designed jewelery and created art through woodburning. She enjoyed dancing, singing, cooking and riding behind her dad on his Harley Davidson motorcycle. Marianne also enjoyed attending art festivals, nature photography, and spending time with loved ones. She cherished God, her family and dogs. Marianne took great pleasure in being outdoors; whether she was fishing or growing vegetables and flowers, Marianne always found happiness in nature. She loved making new friends, lilacs, fashion and indulging in delicious foods.

Everyone will remember Marianne as funny, sweet, playful, hardworking, compassionate, resourceful and strong. She will be deeply missed by her loving family and friends.

Marianne is survived by her children: Brent and Tanner; husband, Anthony “Tony” Weis; additional children: AJ, Darla and Logan; mother, Sharon C. (Junker) Toth Walker; stepmother, Angela Toth; sisters, Susie DeLoach & her husband Rick and Sarah Kern & her husband Jon; brother, David Toth; step-sister, Laura Turvey & her husband, Chris; 3 aunts; 3 uncles; 4 grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, David Lynn Toth; stepfather, Marshall Craig Walker; paternal grandparents, Joseph and Dorothy Toth; maternal grandparents, Ted and Barbara Junker; and uncle, John Toth.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Saturday, March 9, 2024 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 925 East Hanna Avenue, Indianapolis, Indiana 46227. The memorial service will follow at 1:00 PM with Robin Duncan officiating.
