Hold onto your hats, folks, because we’ve got a firecracker to celebrate – the one and only Marti Ina Martin, née Coe, sashayed off this mortal stage on May 13, 2026, but honey, trust me when I say her spirit is still belting out karaoke tunes somewhere divine. Born on May 29, 1954, Marti was not your average sweet old lady; no, ma’am, she was stubborn as a mule, opinionated as a politician, and twice as entertaining. She lived life on her own terms, and you could bet your bottom dollar she did it with a smile and a joke at the ready.
Marti was the queen of the microphone – whether it was her soaring solos at church or those impromptu karaoke sessions that had you wondering if you were witnessing a star in the making or just an outrageous showstopper. Outdoors was her playground; camping and fishing were her languages of love. If you ever caught her camping under the stars or dangling a line in the water, you knew she was in her happy place, probably spinning tales or roasting marshmallows with that trademark cheeky grin.
This lady was so much more than the sum of her passions—she was fiercely loving, especially to her family. Marti was a loving grandmother, the kind who could make you laugh so hard you’d forget your troubles and remind you about the good old days like only she could. She was also "Strong in her Faith," a cornerstone for those lucky enough to know her.
She leaves behind a legacy as vibrant as her personality, including her children Barbara Garcia (alongside the ever-supportive LeeRoy), Cheryl Maldonado-Case (with Joe by her side), and Alice Dennison. The next generation—grandkids Lee, Casey, Olivia, and Elias—plus great-grandchild Desmond, who’s got some big shoes (and probably some hilarious stories) to fill.
Marti’s gone ahead to join her beloved husband, Robert "Bob" Bertram Case, as well as her dear parents, William Coe and Gladys Ledbetter. But don’t let the tears fool you—this fiery lady’s sass and spirit will be dancing in our hearts forever. So here’s to Marti Ina Martin: stubborn, silly, loving, and absolutely unforgettable. Rest easy, Marti, you’ve earned your front-row seat to eternity’s karaoke night. And trust me, heaven’s not ready for your kind of fun!
