Throughout her life, Mary Ellen cultivated a wealth of interests that reflected her creativity and enthusiasm. She was a talented craftsperson who enjoyed working with plastic canvas, channeling her artistic flair into beautiful creations. Her passion for community was evident in her active participation in the mothers' club, where she formed lasting friendships and support networks. A devoted fan of the artist Prince, Mary Ellen could often be found immersed in his music, celebrating the joy it brought her.
Mary Ellen had a particular fondness for playing Super Mario Brothers, a hobby that not only showcased her playful nature but also her ability to connect with others through shared activities. Additionally, she cherished the experiences gained during family camp at Camp Hunt, where cherished memories were created in the company of loved ones. Her appreciation for music extended to her enjoyment of Connie Francis, whose songs provided a soundtrack to many of her happiest moments.
Mary Ellen is survived by her daughter, Vanessa (Tom) Blair, and a close circle of friends, including Brenda, TJ, Noah, Lola, Sherry (Scotty), Cassie, Scotty Jr., and Nico, who will all miss her dearly. She is also remembered by her sisters, Teresa and Rosetta, who shared a special bond with her throughout their lives.
