Mary Parsley

Mary Anna Morse Dodd Parsley was born January 19, 1938 in Indianapolis, IN and graduated with the class of 1957 from Lawrence Central H.S.

Mary took her last earthly breath on April 17, 2025 in her home while her grand-daughter was reading to her and holding her hand.

Preceded in death by parents Volney E. Morse and Martha Irene Morse; siblings David Morse, Ruth Morse Anoskey & Martha Morse Bennewitz. Survived by brother Christopher V. Morse. Mary is also survived by several nieces & nephews and their children.

Mary is survived by her son Daniel G. Dodd along with his wife Terri & daughter Jessica, daughters Deborah A. Dodd and Damaris G. Dodd Contreras along with her son Gene & daughter Sierra.

Mary is preceded in death by her 2nd husband Mitchell Parsley. Survived by stepdaughter Phyllis Parsley Rigsby, her husband Walter Rigsby, their sons Matthew and Grayson Rigsby along with their wives and children.

Celebration of Life service will be held at a future date.
