Norman E. Henry, born on May 23, 1963, in Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away on December 17, 2025. He was known for his steadfast nature and was a man who embodied authenticity; those around him never questioned where they stood with him. Beneath his gruff exterior was a caring heart that you had to be patient with him to find.
Throughout his life, Norman dedicated himself to working in a junkyard, where he honed his skills in working on cars, becoming a proficient mechanic. His passion for fixing vehicles was matched only by his love for fishing, coloring, and drawing, showcasing his diverse interests and talents.
In his later years, Norman found comfort and pride in restoring his family relationships and committing his life to the Lord. These choices were deeply meaningful to him and to those closest to him.
He is survived by his wife Sherry Henry, four children, Robert Neal (Amanda Neal) Henry, Aaron Henry, Brittany Henry, and Nathanael Henry, along with his grandchildren Cory, Devon, Bryer, Dayton, Corbin, Darrian, and Cameron, as well as his great-granddaughter Emberlee. He was also a beloved brother to five siblings and a cherished uncle to many nieces and nephews.
Norman was preceded in death by his parents, Sharon Kay (Stroup) Henry and John William Henry, and his brother, Michael Henry.
