Olivia Maria Castro

Olivia (Libby) Maria Castro passed away at the age of 19 just shy of her 20th birthday. 

Libby was born and raised in Indianapolis, she graduated from Southport High school and had plans to attend college, to eventually become a 911 dispatcher. 

She remained outspoken, resilient and courageous throughout her 7 year battle with cancer until the end. 

Libby preferred homebody activities such as reading, watching tv and YouTube, and writing. She garnered a large following through her published stories and fanfiction on Wattpad and created a community for herself and others. She loved anime, marvel, classic old cars, and spending time with family during game nights. 

Libby is survived by her older brother Charlie , younger sibling Max , grandmother Wanda and Father Carlos.

Including her fur babies, Zoey, Kovu, Lucy, and Tigger.

A funeral service for Libby will be held Saturday, November 15 at 6 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home located at 925 East Hanna Avenue Indianapolis 46227. Friends may gather from 3 pm until the time of the service. 

Libby's memory will live on in the hearts of the people who knew her. She was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed. May she rest easily with Momma, Papaw Kenny, Papaw Howard, Mamaw Diane, and Twix.
