Paul William Enzinger Jr., 73, of Indianapolis, IN, passed away peacefully on July 9, 2025, after a courageous battle with prostate cancer, which he faced with strength and dignity since his diagnosis in 2019.
Born on February 2, 1952, Paul was the beloved son of the late Paul and Virginia Enzinger. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army after being drafted during the Vietnam War. Paul worked at Markey’s until he retired.
Paul was a man of deep faith and community. He found joy in singing with the choir at Friedens United Church of Christ, where his voice and presence were a blessing to many. He loved dogs, found peace in music, and cherished the time he spent with friends and family.
He is survived by his loving sisters, Connie (Vernon) Munchel and Barb (Jim) Koester; his best friend, Lisa Haver; his caregiver Ne'Cole Whyde; and many beloved nieces and nephews.
Paul was preceded in death by his parents, brother Larry Enzinger, and partner Jeff Whyde.
Paul’s gentle spirit, loyal friendship, and unwavering love will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him.
A celebration of life will be held for Paul Enzinger at Friedens Church at 8300 S Meridian on Saturday, August 9. The calling is from 12:30 until 2, with the service beginning at 2.
