Indianapolis – Randy Long, 63, went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, March 18, 2015.
Mr. Long was born February 3, 1952 in Indianapolis, IN. He was employed by ARS where he served as a janitor for 17 years. He retired in 2012. Mr. Long was baptized and became a member of Crooked Creek Baptist Church in 1974. He also served on the Church's board of trustees. He was very involved in the Special Olympics.
Mr. Long was preceded in death by his mother, Meliane Curnutt. He is survived by his best friend, Bobby Pickering; a large extended family; and his beloved Church family.
Mr. Long's family will receive friends Tuesday, March 24, 2015, from 10-11 am at Crooked Creek Baptist Church at 5540 Michigan Road in Indianapolis. A celebration of his life will follow at 11 am with Pastor Tom Bartley officiating. Interment will follow at Memorial Park in Indianapolis.
