Richard G. Bermingham

Richard G. Bermingham, a beloved father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away on November 9, 2025, at the age of 88 in Indianapolis, Indiana. Born on August 14, 1937, in Chicago, Illinois, Richard's journey through life was marked by his dedication to family and his cherished memories at the family cottage in Sumava, a place he regarded as his favorite retreat.

Richard took immense pride in his family, often reflecting on the joy that his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren brought into his life. He is survived by his three sons: Richard E. Bermingham, Robert (Cynthia) Bermingham, and Ronald Bermingham. The legacy of love and kinship continues through his grandchildren, David, Daniel, Laurie, Robert, Matthew, Erin, Bridget, Kelsey, and his great-grandchildren, Emma, Liam, Lucas, Jonathon, Benjamin, Kailey, Charlotte, Elliott, Nova, and Sage.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Patricia Bermingham, as well as his parents, Eugene and Florence Bermingham, whose influence shaped his values and character.

Friends and family are invited to pay their respects during visitation on November 15, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, located at 925 E Hanna Ave, Indianapolis, IN 46227. A funeral service will follow the visitation, beginning at 1:00 PM, also held at Newcomer Funeral Home.
