Robert Carl Parrish

Robert Carl Parrish, a devoted father and respected member of his community, passed away on July 26, 2025, in Indianapolis, Indiana. He was born on April 4, 1961, in Louisville, Kentucky. Robert’s journey through life was characterized by his dedication to both his family and his career.

He graduated from Haworth High School in Kokomo, Indiana, in 1979 and subsequently served his country honorably in the United States Navy from 1979 to 1982, achieving the rank of Seaman 2nd Class. Robert's time in the military instilled in him a sense of discipline and commitment that he carried throughout his life.

In his professional career, Robert held management positions at various fast-food establishments in the Lafayette area, where he was well-regarded for his strong work ethic and leadership skills. His contributions to the industry left a lasting impact on his colleagues and the community he served.

Beyond his professional life, Robert had a passion for genealogy and ham radio, interests that reflected his curiosity and desire to connect with the past and engage with others. He was also dedicated to volunteer work, exemplifying his commitment to helping those around him.

Robert is survived by his children, Abigail, Brittany, RJ, and Casper. He is also mourned by his brother, Bruce Parrish, and his aunt, Lisa Hudson, along with ten nieces and nephews. He will be missed by all who knew him.

Robert was preceded in death by his siblings Wanda Yeagle, Nora Hiser, James Parrish, David Parrish, and Randall Parrish, who will welcome him with open arms in the eternal embrace of family.

A visitation will be held on August 9, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, followed by a funeral service from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, at Newcomer Funeral Home located at 925 E Hanna Ave, Indianapolis, IN 46227.
