Robin Joy Dion

Robin Joy Dion, affectionately known as "Giggles," passed away on April 28, 2025, in Indianapolis, Indiana, at the age of 67. Born on August 28, 1957, in Indianapolis, she was a vibrant presence whose laughter was as infectious as her spirit.

Robin was a graduate of Ben Davis and dedicated much of her professional life to serving as an Administrative Assistant for the Children Beau of Indianapolis. Her caring nature and supportive demeanor made a significant impact on those around her, and she never met a stranger. Robin was well-known for her love of the water, her enjoyment of sitting by a bonfire with friends having a cocktail, and her passion for supporting the musical talents of those she cherished.

Family was Robin’s pride and joy. She looked forward to holidays spent together, creating lasting memories with her loved ones. She is survived by her beloved family, including her daughter, Amber (Bobby) Clark; her son, Riane (Jennifer) Stinnett. Robin also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren: Steven Stinnett, Lirah (Andrew) Harmon, Christian Clements, Sara Clark, Riane Stinnett, Shawn Clark, and Diana Evans, along with thirteen great-grandchildren. She is further survived by her siblings, Janice Flanagan and Tom Hodgin, and several nieces and nephews.

Robin now joins her dearly missed parents, Walter M. and Virginia Adeline (Cutler) Hodgin, as well as her late sister Beverly Kidd, brother Walter Hodgin, and sister Karen McKay.

A visitation will be held on May 6, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, followed by a Funeral Service from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM, both taking place at Newcomer Funeral Home located at 925 E Hanna Ave, Indianapolis, IN 46227.

Robin Joy Dion's legacy will be remembered through the laughter she shared and the love she spread among her family and friends. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege to know her.
