Russell Wesley Robbins, a beloved husband, son, brother, and friend passed away unexpectedly at his home in Indianapolis, Indiana, on July 24, 2024. Born on December 27, 1971, in Richmond, Indiana, Russell touched the lives of many with his kind and fun-loving personality.


Russell led a fulfilling career as a Mutual Fund Accountant from 2001 to 2015, showcasing his dedication and expertise in the field. He graduated from Centerville High School in 1990 and furthered his education by earning a Bachelor's Degree in Finance IU East.


His proudest accomplishment was marrying the love of his life, Angela Robbins (Sylvia), on April 6, 2001. Together with Angie, he created cherished memories that included trips to Disney and French Lick.


In his leisure time, Russell enjoyed pursuing various hobbies such as golfing, tennis, playing video games, passionately following football - especially rooting for the Indianapolis Colts and fishing trips with his grandfather. His enthusiasm for these activities brought joy to those around him.


Russell will be deeply missed by his surviving family and friends: his devoted wife Angela; adoring mother Janet Robbins; loving sister Ande Starr; caring brother Robert (Pamela) Robbins Jr.; nieces Katie Starr, Rachael Starr; nephews Ryan Starr and Alex Robbins; niece Missi (Brian) Wilson; great-nephew Wesley Wilson. His presence enriched their lives in countless ways.


He is preceded in death by his father Robert W. Robbins; brother-in-law Mike Starr; uncles Danny Emery and Kirby Robbins; grandparents Dorval Emery and Maude Emery.


Russell Wesley Robbins will be remembered for his loyalty, love for animals, and the deep friendships he held dear. He was not just a son or brother but a best friend to many who had the privilege of knowing him. His legacy of kindness and joy will forever remain in the hearts of those who were fortunate to have shared in his life's journey. May he rest in peace.
