Indianapolis – Sharon K. Hughes, 63, passed away Wednesday, April 29, 2015.
Mrs. Hughes was born October 14, 1951 in Indianapolis, IN. She served as a traffic coordinator for Sataria Distribution for 3 years and Creative Expressions for over 30 years. She enjoyed working in her yard, cooking and helping other people, but more than anything else, she enjoyed the simple pleasure of spending time with her family.
Mrs. Hughes is survived by her beloved husband of 24 years, Dennis Hughes; daughter, Tessa Marie Hawk; step-son, Scott Hughes; step-daughter, Trisha McCreary; brothers, Eugene Mundy and Ronnie Neal; 5 grandchildren; and many other family members and friends.
The Hughes family will receive friends Monday, May 4, 2015, from 4-8 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home at 925 East Hanna Avenue in Indianapolis. A celebration of her life will be conducted Tuesday, May 5, 2015, at 11 am at the funeral home.
