Steven Hans Zinn, known affectionately as Steve to those who knew him well, passed away on April 27, 2026. Born on September 20, 1967, Steve led a life marked by dedication, skill, and a passion for the things he loved most.
Steve built a distinguished career, ending at Morley Companies, where his deep expertise as an ASE Certified Mechanic was invaluable in assisting fellow mechanics to troubleshoot complex issues. His knowledge, patience, and willingness to help others made him a respected figure within his professional community.
Beyond his career, Steve's personality shone brightly through his passions. He was an avid Harley enthusiast, frequently seen enjoying the freedom of the open road on his bike. When not riding, he found joy in playing pool, activities that exemplified his spirited nature and zest for life.
He is survived by his loving sisters, Tanja E. Watson and Audrey M. Sunman, who carry forward his memory with great affection. Steve was preceded in death by his parents, Chester R. Zinn and Berta Zinn, whose legacy he honored throughout his life.
A Celebration of Life will be held in Steve’s honor on June 20, 2026, from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Veterans of Foreign Wars, located at 10550 Pendleton Pike in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Steve Hans Zinn’s memory will remain cherished by all who were privileged to know him, as a devoted family member, a trusted mechanic, and a man who embraced life’s joys with open arms. His spirit lives on in the hearts of those whose lives he touched.
