Vincent “Vince” Salvatore Scenna Sr., 84, passed away on April 28, 2026 peacefully and surrounded by family. Born on January 31, 1942, he lived a life defined by service, adventure, and an unwavering love for his family.
As a proud veteran, he retired from the United States Air Force after 22 years of dedicated active service. He continued to serve 20 additional years in the civil service and fully retired in 2003. His commitment to his country was the cornerstone of his identity; the discipline and work ethic he gained while in the service stayed with him throughout the entirety of his life.
In his retirement, he fully embraced all of his passions. He found his peace on the water whether he was navigating his boat or out on the hunt for King Mackerel. On land, he was a loyal Indianapolis Colts and the New York Yankees fan - Rarely missing a game on TV and always asking Siri the score every 5 minutes if he wasn’t watching live. Above all else, he was a family man who cherished every moment spent with those he loved.
Vince was preceded in death by his parents, Nancy (Micale) Scenna and Salvatore Scenna, and his grandson, Alex Scenna. He is survived by his children: Ridona (Randy) Carson, Salvatore (Kelly) Scenna, Christine (Joe) Souders, Vincent Scenna Jr., and Michael Scenna; his grandchildren: Apryl (Jimmy) Jackson, Krystle (Josh) Anderson, Elaina (Mike) Kuhlenschmidt, Sophia Souders, Emily Scenna, Haley Scenna, and Vincent Scenna III; and 8 great grandchildren.
