Greensburg - Tommy Wanda Mae Hammonds, 73, passed away Monday, August 19, 2019. She was born December 9, 1945 in Indianapolis, IN to the late Oscar Ray Hammonds and Rosa Evelyn Hammonds-Benge. She was employed as a cashier with Speedway gas stations. She enjoyed drawing, knitting and crocheting.

Wanda was preceded in death by her parents, Oscar and Rosa Hammonds; her ex-husband, James Prosser Jr; and grandson, Timmy Hampson Jr. She is survived by her daughters: Tina Hampson and her husband, Tim, Angela Weakley and her husband, Steve and Rosa English and her husband, Brayton; sister, Millie Brown; granddaughters: Melissa Hoover and her husband, Hoot, Jessica Padilla and her husband, Richard, Amanda Gaskin and Elizabeth and Stephanie Weakley; grandsons, Erik Gaskin and his wife, Erin and Tyler English; and 17 great-grandchildren.

Wanda's family will receive friends Tuesday, August 27, 2019, from 10 am – 12 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 925 East Hanna Avenue, Indianapolis, IN 46227. A graveside service will follow at 2 pm at London Cemetery in Fairland, IN.
