Winona R. Huddleston

Winona R. Huddleston, a beloved homemaker and cherished member of her family, passed away on June 5, 2025, at the age of 81 in Indianapolis, Indiana. Born on April 17, 1944, in Bloomington, Indiana, she was a guiding light to all who knew her.

Winona is survived by her loving children, Kimberly Schultz, John (Marie) Huddleston, and Deborah (William) Buckley. She took immense pride in her family, which also includes her nine grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren. Additionally, she is survived by her brother, Daniel Farr, who will fondly hold onto their shared memories.

Winona was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Walter "Bud" Huddleston, whom she married on December 3, 1960, in Tennessee. She also mourned the loss of her father, Ernest Farr; her mother, Doris Wickline; her sister, Rachel Goodman; and her grandson, Noah Schultz.

Her life was filled with love, laughter, and dedication to her family. Winona's contributions as a homemaker were invaluable, nurturing her family with warmth and compassion throughout the years.

Friends and family are invited to celebrate Winona's life at Newcomer Funeral Home, located at 925 E Hanna Ave, Indianapolis, IN 46227. Visitation will be held on June 11, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at 1:00 PM. The burial will take place later in the day at 2:00 PM, where Winona will be laid to rest.
