Listen to Obituary

Xavier Eric Shaw was born on Sunday, June 14th, 2026, at 12:43 p.m. to parents Sierra Shaw and Anthony Barron at Riley’s Children’s Hospital. He weighed 5 pounds, 4.6 ounces and was 17.75 inches long. Xavier’s family was blessed with 8 days with him, before he gained his angel wings on Monday, June 22nd at 1:32 p.m. in the arms of his parents.

Despite facing severe heart complications, Xavier showed immense strength, bringing a profound sense of love, hope, and unity to everyone who met him or held him in their thoughts.

Xavier will be survived by his parents, his big brother Azari, his half-brothers Anthony, Ayden and Grayson, his grandparents Samantha and Scott Shaw, his aunts and uncles, his cousins and many, many others. Xavier will always remain his parents’ precious “Baby Bear” and they will hold him again in heaven one day.

His great-uncle Eric Rexroat, great-great grandmother Georgia Overman, great grandmother Mary Shaw, great grandmother Sheila Rexroat, Aunt Ashley Watson and many others are waiting to greet Xavier in heaven.

Services to celebrate Xavier’s brief but meaningful life will be held on Friday, June 26th at 11 a.m at Newcomer Indianapolis. Following his service, he will be laid to rest at Mt. Pleasant Greenwood Cemetery next to family.
